Nadia Petrova is a Russian professional tennis player. She has won 26 WTA Titles, nine in singles and seventeen in doubles matches. In singles, Petrova has reached a career high ranking of No. 3 in May 2006. She has reached the semi-finals of the French Open in 2003 and 2005. She won the year-ending Sony Ericsson Championships in 2004 with Meghann Shaughnessy in Women's Doubles.


Nadia Petrova was seeded No. 19 in the French Open 2010. She beat Shuai Zhang, Agnes Szavay, Aravane Rezai and Venus Williams on her way to the quarterfinals where she lost to Elena Dementieva 6-2, 2-6, 0-6. Petrova struggled with a leg injury during her quarterfinal match. She played with Samantha Stosur in women's doubles and lost to the Bondarenko sisters in the third round.
